1/10th FWD/TCR Racing Guidelines

The guidelines set out below are what Sydney racers have found to deliver fun, close and cost effective FWD/TCR racing at both club level and larger events.

Minimum Weight 1250g.
Batteries As per RCRA ISTC guidelines.
Wheels/Tyres
We have performed extensive testing on a range of commericially available treaded tyres, each with their pros and cons.

In order to keep racing close and costs down, we suggest treaded "Z-pattern" tyres on spoked rims be used with the same compound front and rear. These tyres offer good grip, excellent durability with no dropoff throughout their lifespans. These are typically produced by Vaulk, Rush, Team Powers and Volante.

A control tyre is highly recommended at larger events with 1 set being generally sufficient.
Chassis
Any FWD, full independent suspension chassis.
Dimensions and specs as per RCRA ISTC Guidelines.
Body Shells
Eligible bodies are reasonable scale representations of any existing 'B/C-Segment' Front Wheel Drive Sedan/Hatchback/Wagon with a minimum allowable roof height of 125mm measured at the highest point of the roofline (vertical elements will be ignored).

Based on the above, bodies such as the PIP Aero e-TCR24 and Xtreme She-Rock are not permitted.

No lightweight bodies. Bodies should nominally be rated 0.7mm or more.

Wings must be as supplied with the original body and must be painted, not clear.

Motor: Justock 3650 G2.1 13.5T (legacy Justock G2 variant also legal).
ESC: Xerun XR10 Justock G3 (legacy Justock non-G3 variant also legal).
ESC motor/battery wires may be replaced, max 14awg.
Final Drive Ratio
Minimum final drive ratio of 4.5.
