The lower weight increases the drive train efficiency. This outdrive also fit the front plastic spool drive of Xray T4.

Updated: This version of outdrives uses the 4.0mm blades XP-10876, which greatly increases durability of the blades and therefore will not work with the old 3.5mm blades.
