Smokem's MYD top deck was a popular upgrade for many Yokomo BD10 racers, Featuring a solid 9mm-wide front section, which we found to deliver balanced flex characteristics despite the asymmetric design, the MYD design was meticulously developed by the Smokem team over a 4-month period.

The BD11 version adopts a similar flex bearing mounting system - albeit with a larger 7mm diameter bearing now a standard inclusion. As a result we have carried over the race winning formula to the new BD11 design.

Our MYD design also ensures the top deck will never make contact with the motor as the chassis flexes, along with improved clearance for large pinions used in blinky classes. Like all MYD top decks, its design makes spur gear and belt changes a breeze!
