R1's fastest ROAR-approved V21 17.5, 13.5, and 21.5 motors are now upgradable. After over two years on the market and countless big race wins, the V21 now features the longest, highest-torque rotor built to ROAR specifications.

The extra length creates a bigger magnetic field toward the middle of the rotor, generating more torque when accelerating out of corners and during jumps in off-road racing. When properly geared, this also allows the motor to run more efficiently and, in effect, stay cooler. The longer rotor, measuring 25.9mm, is at the absolute limit of the ROAR specification.

The high-torque rotor will be marked with RED on the balancing cap.
