The MYD Top Deck Tuning Kit is the perfect companion to Smokem's MYD top decks, allowing the MYD top deck's flex to be tuned according to track conditions.
The set features a standard ABEC5 bearing, a flanged ABEC5 bearing and stainless steel 0.1 and 0.2mm shims by Hiro Seiko, and is designed to be used in conjunction with top deck posts provided by respective manufacturers.
Starting with the standard bearing option, the top deck can freely float vertically when fastened against top deck post. On the other hand, the flanged bearing fully secures the top deck against the post for less flex.
Adding shims between the flanged bearing and top deck post allows a small amount of float and introduce varying degrees of flex to the assembly.
