Made for the Yokomo BD7 and BD7 2014 is the BD7-IIX chassis from Smokem Racing. Off the back of the success of their 418-IIX chassis at various international events in recent months, Smokem now launches the latest iteration of their IIX design for the Yokomo BD7 electric tourers.

The chassis utilises a proprietary 2.0mm thick “Pro-Weave” pure carbon fibre construction – which is stiffer than conventional weave but softer than a quasi weave.

Together with its smooth contoured design, the BD7-IIX chassis provides improved flex characteristics while the thinner construction delivers a lowered centre of gravity for improved corner speed over a wider range of track conditions.
