With the inline setup, you have the added flexibility of mounting the battery forward with the ESC behind, or at the back with the ESC in front. With the R1B, we’ve addressed this by extending the chassis side-guard braces to the rear, directing flex toward the middle to improve balance and stability during acceleration and cornering. Additionally, we’ve included an optional 7075 T6 aluminum horseshoe brace that reinforces the area below the gearbox and motor.
